We mourn the death of our esteemed colleague, staunch project supporter and friend, Peter Pinson. Peter has been associated with this project for several years. He provided letters of support to various granting bodies, he was instrumental in the selection of many of the Australia artists and interviewed about half of them.

Peter Pinson had a distiguished career as an artist, critic and author, as well as many years as an educator. His easy style allowed the life and works of our interviewed artists to be shared by one and all.

We offer our condolences to his wife Jenny, his family and friends. He will be sorely missed and not only by this project.
